Taking part in class

What should I wear to class?

We normally train in a “gi” (karate uniform). For your first lesson, we recommend comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Training is done barefoot.

What should I bring to class?

A change of clothes, a towel and a bottle of water.

Do I need to book a class in advance?

Yes. Please book at least 7 days before the class.

Can I take a shower after the lesson at the dojo?

It depends on the venue, but most dojos do not have a shower room.

Is there insurance if I get injured?

We are sorry, but insurance is not included. Participants are responsible for any injury during class, so we recommend arranging your own travel insurance.

Can I join a lesson if I arrive late?

We are sorry, but late arrivals cannot join, as it disrupts the other students.

How can I cancel my class?
